Monika Kiss Hair & Beauty is a small, independent salon on Filton Road, Bristol. We’re not a chain. There are three of us — Monika, Mollie, and Claudia — and we’re looking to add one more to the team.
Monika has over a decade of experience and built this salon around one idea: a good working environment produces better work. Small team, relaxed, and genuinely warm from the moment you walk in.

Tamas, our co-owner, runs professional digital marketing for the salon — including Google Ads, social media, and a well-maintained website that brings in clients through organic search too. If you join on a percentage basis, you benefit from a steady stream of bookings without managing your own marketing.

Part-time or full-time, weekdays or weekends — we’ll work around your availability. We believe work should fit your life, not the other way around.

We’re on Filton Road with free on-street parking right outside. No city centre hassle, no parking fees.
What you’ll actually be doing.
You’ll be providing hair-cutting, colouring, and styling services to clients. You’ll keep your workstation clean and follow salon hygiene and safety standards. Beyond that, this is a relaxed environment — you won’t be micromanaged.
You must be based in Bristol, be able to reliably commute to Filton Road, and have the right to work in the UK.
Some of your own clientele is useful but not essential. If you’re joining on a percentage or chair rental basis, our existing booking volume and digital marketing will support you from day one.
We’re ideally looking for:
- NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent)
- At least 2 years of hairdressing experience
- A confident approach to cutting, colouring, and styling
- Your own basic tools
- A professional, reliable attitude
